Thank you for visiting artratio. This is a portfolio of Akiomi Kuroda, Artratio is the question of “how much art is there in photography?” or rather, “the ratio of art in photography.” Photography originates in the recording of reality and gradually became an artful way of expressing life. The latter is, of course, important to me, but I don’t want to ignore the original “raison d’etre” of photography, and I hold it in respect. In other words, photography is a representation of reality. That is an important essence. If we lose that, perhaps we could never have CG or paintings. I don’t like to think that the camera is just an easy way to catch a beautiful moment.
